Designed as a compact, modular benchtop system with an intuitive touchscreen control terminal, the Flex-Disc seamlessly integrates with our single-use, fully enclosed microfluidic chips to deliver gold-standard nucleic acid testing (NAT) at the point of care. With a total run time of 30-45 minutes per sample and fully walk-away operation, the system eliminates the need for dedicated molecular diagnostic laboratories and trained technical personnel, bringing accurate, multiplex nucleic acid detection to hospital emergency departments, outpatient clinics, primary care facilities, and global public health field settings.
Core Advantages
✅Closed-Chip Full Automation | Zero Manual Processing
Flex-Disc fully automates the two gold standards of molecular diagnostics: silica membrane-based nucleic acid extraction and real-time qPCR. The entire workflow — from sample lysis, nucleic acid purification to multiplex amplification and result reporting — is completed within a single, hermetically sealed disposable chip.
Cuts hands-on time to less than 1 minute per sample, with no pipetting, reagent preparation, or sample transfer required
Completely eliminates aerosol contamination risks, removing the requirement for partitioned PCR laboratory spaces
Delivers true sample-to-answer performance: load the raw sample, insert the chip, and obtain actionable results automatically

✅High-Multiplex Syndromic Testing | Up to 16 Targets per Sample
Each microfluidic chip integrates 4 independent qPCR amplification chambers paired with 4 dedicated fluorescence channels, enabling simultaneous detection of up to 16 distinct pathogens or gene targets from a single patient sample.
Syndromic testing approach enables differential diagnosis of causative pathogens in one run, avoiding sequential testing and shortening time to targeted treatment
Detection sensitivity and specificity aligned with gold-standard laboratory qPCR performance
Supports precision diagnosis to guide rational antimicrobial use and reduce antibiotic overuse
✅Flexible Modular Throughput | Adaptable to All Scenarios
Built on a scalable wireless modular architecture, the Flex-Disc system adapts to your testing volume needs without costly infrastructure upgrades.
A single touchscreen control terminal can wirelessly connect to and manage 1 to 8 fully independent detection modules
Each module operates autonomously, supporting random access and continuous sample loading — no batch processing required
Compact, lightweight single-module design enables flexible deployment in space-limited settings; modular expansion seamlessly scales throughput for medium-volume diagnostic laboratories

✅Ready-to-Use Panels | Room Temperature Storage
All test panels come with pre-embedded, quality-controlled lyophilized PCR reagent beads inside the microfluidic chips, for out-of-the-box use with no on-site reagent preparation.
Proprietary lyophilization process ensures reagent stability at room temperature, eliminating cold chain requirements for storage and transportation
Pre-configured panels remove manual reagent handling and minimize human error
Simplified supply chain and reduced storage costs for end users, especially for resource-limited settings

Core Technology & Working Principle
At the core of the Flex-Disc system is our proprietary centrifugal microfluidic platform, which integrates the full nucleic acid testing workflow into a single disc-shaped chip via precise centrifugal force control.
✅Integrated Centrifugal Microfluidic Platform
We creatively apply centrifugal microfluidic technology to integrate column-based silica membrane nucleic acid extraction and ultra-multiplex qPCR reactions on a single chip. By precisely controlling the rotation speed and direction of the disc chip, the system sequentially drives samples, lysis buffers, washing buffers, and elution buffers through the chip’s microchannels to complete automated nucleic acid extraction and purification, followed by direct transfer to amplification chambers for qPCR testing — all without manual intervention.

✅Proprietary Lyophilized Reagent Technology
Our self-developed PCR reagent lyophilization process pre-embeds stable lyophilized reagent beads into the microfluidic chip during manufacturing. This design removes the need for liquid reagent handling on site, and enables room-temperature storage and transportation of test kits, greatly reducing logistics costs and expanding accessibility for remote and resource-limited regions.
✅High-Precision Mass Production Process
To ensure consistent chip performance and scalable, cost-effective manufacturing, we adopt a one-step injection molding process paired with laser surface welding technology (in contrast to traditional laser line welding). This production process improves chip sealing reliability, reduces batch-to-batch variation, enhances production stability, and lowers overall manufacturing costs.

Target Application Scenarios
The Flex-Disc CH-0104 system is designed to bring gold-standard molecular diagnostic capability to settings where traditional laboratory PCR is not feasible or efficient:
Hospital emergency departments and outpatient clinics: rapid syndromic testing for acute infections to shorten time to diagnosis and accelerate targeted treatment
Primary care clinics and community health centers: accessible nucleic acid testing at community-level healthcare facilities without dedicated molecular labs
Specialty clinics (gynecology, urology, infectious disease): on-site pathogen testing for immediate clinical decision-making
Global public health and field testing: outbreak surveillance, border quarantine, tropical disease control, and remote area testing
Occupational health and screening programs: on-demand pathogen screening for enterprises and public institutions
